"The Secret of NIMH" Links

Charlie's Secret of NIMH page

CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Steve Vanden-Eykel's "NIMH ARCHIVE" Site.

NIMH II's No. 1 fan!   (Sorry Steve - I didn't mean it - stop hitting me! :-) )

WARNING - This site triggers a virus warning in Zone Alarm Antivirus.   I've tried to contact the site owner about this, but it's still a problem as 13 August 2008. The archive section of the site is OK, the problem seems to be limited to the initial homepage, so for now I'm changning this link to just go to the article archive section of the site at "http://www.vanden-eykel.com/nimharchive/archive.html".

Jeff McGinnis' "BIG NIMH QUIZ" site

Just what it says!   Has a special award for NIMHperfection!
(Has someone else already used that word?)

David Pochron's "The Secret of NIMH" Page

This site covers a few animated films other than NIMH, including a rare page on the film "Once Upon a Forest".

Andrew Murdoch's NIMH page Read the rules of the NIMH drinking game here.   I've never had a go at it myshelf...

Chris Moon's Robert C O'Brien page

This site is dedicated to the Author of NIMH and other stories.   Contains scans of many of the book's illustrations by Zena Bernstein.

Jeremy Hodges' NIMH page

This site is currently being re-written.   Not a lot up yet other than a links page, but check anyway!

Ken Singshow's   "NIMH Mrs Brisby Gallery"

Doesn't seem to be around anymore, but contained two large pages of fan art from different contributors.   Didn't seem to get new stuff very often though.

Ken Singshow's 'Unauthorised NIMH Sequel'

A sequel in comic-strip form.   One of the jewels of NIMH fan fiction!

Robin's NIMH Fan Fiction Page

Kristin Blomstedt's "Robin's NIMH fan fiction archive"

Returned on 14 Aoril 2002 from a long absence!
If you don't want the story of NIMH to ever come to an end this is the place to go!

Robert Stearns' Elizabeth Hartman page

A site telling the story of the life, career and death of Elizabeth Hartman, the voice of Mrs Birsby.

BadBird's NIMHTRIX site

A new, but already unique site.   Mothers gather up your children and hide them under your matresses! :-)   Contains a fan art section for 'mature audiences' that is sure to become infamous as it grows!

"The Secret of NIMH Cut Off My Balls"

I think the title probably speaks for itself!
Not really for kids, but not an "adult" site either.

NIMH MUCK

The Official NIMHMUCK Page

The official NIMH MUCK page.   Can't say I ever 'got' what it was to MUCK around, but many people love it, and this one belongs to NIMH!
There is another MUCK currently in development based on the "Rats of Thorn Valley" fan fiction.

Kristin Blomstedt's NIMHMUCK site

The page belonging to the MUCK's Head Wizard.   Has a story based on one of the MUCK's plots.

NIMH RPG   Saul Moran's NIMH - based RPG page.

More NIMH Links

(Not referred to elsewhere on my site)

Michael Atkin's NIMH Page - A mixture of NIMH and music.   Not highly graphical, but there's a lot there.

Andreas Hegewald's NIMH Fan Page - page by a German NIMH fan.   Contains a lot of fan art, and like me a guy who's had a go at animation himself!   (difficult - innit?! :) )

The Thorn Valley Pokémon Center - by Kenny s.   Quite a small page at the moment, but looks like being a Pokémon / NIMH crossover site.

The Animated Heroes Page (Justin) - by Zora Reveier, a collection of animated heroes from the world of animation.   A great idea! ("I'm glad I thought of that!" ~ Various villains)   I'm linking to the Justin section because - well - This is a 'NIMH links' page!   Don't miss the other sections though.

Justin's Home - Contains a clever Javascript "Dress Justin" game.

Brooke's Secret of NIMH Page

Still a small page.   Brooke runs two other animation fan sites too, so no wonder!

NIMH

The National Institute of Mental Health The real NIMH !   I've heard they had their own 'NIMH' page too, but that seems to be long gone now.

Luke's NIMH Page

Luke's Secret of Nimh Page  NEW - A building collection of images, with a sprinkling of fan-fiction! (well - when the link works! :-) )

'An homage to the coolest rats ever to escape from a government mental research institution.'

The Justin & Jenner Shrine  The Justin & Jenner Shrine  The Justin & Jenner Shrine

It's back!   Unexpectedly returned, live from beyond the grave, Daphne Lage's Justin and Jenner Shrine!

  • (Watch out for the Mice In Black! :-) )

R.A.V.E. Pro's Secret of NIMH page

A site with incredibly detailed graphics.   Doesn't seem to have been updated for a while, and is still under construction in many places.

Mrs.Brisby.com - (Used to be "Mrs Brisby's Home") A page dedicated to things Mrs Brisby!   Recently completely updated (July 1999), but some things are still to be added.

SITE HAS BEEN REPRIEVED from its announced closure on 3 January 2000, but quite what that means for the page itself remains to be seen!

Seoman's Thorn Valley NIMH site - A very professional-looking site!   Contains a large collection of screen captures, and an as-yet unfinished screenplay.

The Jonathan Brisby Shrine - Seems to be gone now...   Wasn't this the one where you had to look at advertisements to get a code to allow you into the site?

Edwin's "What, another Secret of NIMH Page" - Still a very small site, and seemingly not updated since the dawn of mankind! :-)   Contains a short NIMH 2 commentary.

The Rosebush - Lady Jenner (Megan Lucas' NIMH page)   Take the NIMH Personality Quiz here!

Jessica's "Love is the Key" NIMH page - Another one that's not there anymore!

Scott Clagg's NIMH page - Erased, but should return.

    Computolio's Wide World of NIMH

    NIMHnation  Computolio's new NIMH page.

Internet Movie DataBase's entry on 'The Secret of NIMH'

Edmonton School, California (Grade six) - Gone now.   Contained classroom NIMH drawings.

    Minnetonka, Minnesota NIMH study guide

Ms L Andrews' page (mainly has links covering the subject of animal experimentation)

Christopher Street's NIMH notes - (I didn't know Don Bluth had a pet cat! [Missy, listed in NIMH's credits])

Ozcot Studios Animation - A page featuring artwork and information by ex-NIMH animator Ken Cope.

Yesterdayland ~ The Secret of NIMH - seems at least to be a semi-commercial site, but has pages of "NIMH Memories"... one bad thing is that you have to register with the site to leave one!   If you plan to leave a memory I advise using a disposable email address (such as a newly-registered Hotmail or Yahoo mail address), since its possible your details could find their way to spammers from a site like this.   Don't believe privacy policies - my address was released last year from a private database in a virus attack... it happens, so be careful who you give your email address to - and NEVER register your main email address!
